This important CLE program focuses on the excellent work being done by Innocence Projects across the nation and how Fellows can make a difference in exonerating wrongly convicted and incarcerated individuals from the criminal legal system. A distinguished panel, steeped in experience and dedication, will discuss their remarkable experiences and delve into the significant ethical and additional issues that are crucial to freeing the innocent.

As this article indicates, Missouri, like many states, does not provide a proper path for an exonerated person to receive appropriate compensation for his/her false imprisonment. We encourage others to get involved in legislative efforts within their state to change that.
