River Float (Thursday and Friday)     Price: $275

Leave the city behind as you travel 30 minutes to the Tonto National Forest for a meandering adventure on the Salt River, a gentle and lush waterway. Enjoy the sunshine and fresh air with a refreshing rafting boat float by some of the most gorgeous views in Arizona. Dip a toe outside your raft into the cool waters, or stay completely dry! Your expert trained river-guide will share insights about the landscape, the native peoples and the two rivers that provide water to this desert state. This activity is meant for all abilities and accommodations.

Kayaking (Thursday and Friday)     $275

Guests will experience the wonder of being in the unique environment of a desert river, which provides a home for the greatest diversity of plant and animal life that the region has to offer. The easy currents and gentle nature of the river make the Salt River an ideal setting for both the curious beginner and the experienced veteran to get a little exercise and have a lot of fun!

Musical Instrument Museum (MIM)MIM3_v2 (Friday)     $120

This awe-inspiring museum represents the music of people from all over the world. The Tour offers an overview of the world’s music, focusing on cultures in each geographic region of the globe with unique, historical instruments. End the tour with an immersive sixty-minute activity, playing drums and other culturally traditional instruments from around the world. Led by a master instructor, learn the basics of African, Latin, and pop-music hand drumming and make music and rhythm together.

Experience an adventure as real cowboys teach you their skills, just like they did back in the 1800s. After your perfect horse is chosen, saddle up and travel on horseback through a desert that is alive with spring color. Once the steers are gathered, you'll be guided by your cowboy hosts to help move them along at a slow and steady pace to where they'll unite with the main herd. No galloping or lassoing here, this is a real-live cow herding. No horseback Riding Experience Required.

Spring Training Game: First Pitch by President Murphy (Friday)     $90 

Jump on the ACTL bus and we’ll take you out to the ballgame so you can cheer on President Murphy as he kicks off the spring training game between the Colorado Rockies and Seattle Mariners at the beautiful state-of-the-art Salt River Stadium. The College has reserved a block of seats.

Guided Desert Hike (Saturday)     $130

Venture into the picturesque desert landscape and learn about the unique flora, fauna, geology, and geological wonders. Guests will revel in an up close and personal look at the elements that comprise the Sonoran Desert as well as explore answers to the ever-popular question “Just how old is that saguaro?” This is a hike for all skill levels.

Jump in your Jeep right at the Biltmore and cruise out to the open desert just outside of the city. Experience the awesome beauty of the pristine Sonoran Desert with your cowboy guide. You will marvel as they answer questions such as: Is there really a jumping cactus? How did the ancient Indians thrive in this harsh climate? Your guide makes it fun while learning the intricate balance of this desert ecosystem and botanical history.

Mountain Trail Biking (Saturday)     $215mountain bike_small

Leave the city behind, as we set out into the Sonoran Dessert. Set the pace as you cruise over dirt trails through the dramatic landscape, taking in some of North America's most unique scenery that comes alive with color in the spring! Cruise the single-track trails atop a high-performance bike. This ride is designed so individuals of ALL riding levels can enjoy themselves. Closed toe shoes required.
