Prepared by the Teaching of Trial and Appellate Advocacy Committee, this series of video vignettes addresses the practical challenges faced by both interrogators and defenders. The series includes lifelike deposition excerpts with commentary from participating Fellows, as well as panel discussions on a variety of deposition topics.
The videos are divided into two categories: DEPOSITION DISCUSSION VIDEOS (P1) and MOCK DEMONSTRATION VIDEOS (P2). The Discussion Only Videos are best utilized for training young litigators when an experienced litigator guides the discussion on a start-stop playback basis rather than simply playing such videos from start to finish. The Mock Demonstration Videos, when combined with written resource materials available on www.actl.com, constitute a pre-packaged “plug and play” training tool requiring very little preparation when used by a law firm or law professor to instruct young lawyers/law students in deposition practice.
