Terri L. Mascherin

Terri L. Mascherin is a trial lawyer. Businesses turn to her for help with disputes over corporate transactions, partnerships, joint ventures, licenses, and contracts, and law firms hire her to represent them in high stakes professional responsibility disputes. She is a first chair trial attorney who is effective in both jury and bench trials, and in representing clients in arbitrations and arguing appeals in state and federal appellate courts throughout the United States.

Ms. Mascherin is a partner in Jenner & Block’s Litigation Department, co-chair of the Professional Responsibility Practice, and a member of the Complex Commercial Litigation and International Arbitration practices.

Ms. Mascherin is AV Peer Review Rated, Martindale-Hubbell’s highest peer recognition for ethical standards and legal ability. In 2012, Law360 named her a “Top Female Trial Attorney,” one of only 15 women nationally selected for the honor. In 2007, she was recognized as one of the 50 Most Influential Women Lawyers in America by The National Law Journal. A former president of the Chicago Bar Association, Ms. Mascherin has been nationally recognized for her legal work, including her pro bono representation of death row inmates and her work to promote effective representation of defendants in capital cases.
