Jennifer L. Parent

Jennifer is a director and chair of McLane Middleton, Professional Associations Business Litigation Group and former chair of the Litigation Department and the Employment Law Practice Group. She has over twenty-eight years of experience litigating and resolving disputes for companies and business owners in a wide range of complex commercial cases and employment matters. She is also a trained mediator with extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution.

Jennifer is a Past-President of the National Conference of Bar Presidents (2018-2019), the New England Bar Association (2018-2019), the New Hampshire Bar Association (2011-2012), and the New Hampshire Womens Bar Association (2000-2002). Jennifer has received recognition by NH Business Review as a NH Top 200 Influencer for 2021, Top 250 Women Litigators in U.S. by Benchmark Litigation (2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019), a Top Women of Law Honoree by the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly (2020), Outstanding Alumni Service Award from Suffolk University Law School (2019), the Marilla M. Ricker Achievement Award by the NH Womens Bar Association (2016), the Outstanding Woman in Business by New Hampshire Business Review (2015), the NH Bar Association’ s Judge Philip S. Hollman Gender Equality Award (2010), the Trailblazer in the Law recognition by the NH Women’s Bar Association (2008), recognition as one of the New Hampshire Union Leader’s “Forty Under 40” Business Leaders (2007), and the Robert E. Kirby Award by the NH Bar Foundation (2003). She is a Sustaining Life Fellow of NCBP, Patron Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and Life Fellow of the NH Bar Foundation. She served as president of the Suffolk University Law School NH alumni association and helped found the alumni group’s loan assistance program.
Jennifer received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School and her B.A., cum laude, from Boston College. She also attended the St. Paul’s School Advanced Studies Program.
