I’m a trial lawyer. I’m grateful for the opportunity I have to fight for justice on behalf of individuals going through hard times against some of the largest corporations in the country.

I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in political science, and New York University School of Law. I then served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a judge advocate. I spent most of my time defending young Marines who had made bad mistakes and were facing years in prison. In 2005, I deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I worked with Coalition partners, and Iraqi judges and lawyers, to help establish the rule of law in Iraq.

I joined a large firm in Minneapolis after my time in the Marine Corps concluded. After running for Congress in 2008, I started my own firm, with the vision of providing a trial-oriented firm serving plaintiffs in employment and civil rights cases.

When I’m not working, I spend my time chasing my 5 young kids around. I live with my wife and kids in Minneapolis.
