Elizabeth Green Lindsey is a partner in the law firm of Harrison LLP , practicing exclusively in the area of family law. She is the income President of the National Board of Trial Advocacy (2025-2027), which oversees national board certification in trial advocacy and is accredited through the ABA. Ms. Lindsey served as President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) (2020-2021), and is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Diplomate in The American College of Family Trial Lawyers, President Elect of the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a Past President of the Georgia Chapter of the AAML, a Fellow in the International Academy of Family Lawyers, former Chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, served on the Rules Committee for the Family Division of the Superior Court of Fulton County as well as the Task Force for the Family Division, and is a Master in the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inn of Court.
She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Religion in 1982. She double majored in Religion and Psychology. In 1985, she received her Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Following graduation, Ms. Lindsey joined the law firm of Hamel, Helms, Cannon, Hamel & Pearce, P.C. in Charlotte, North Carolina. She practiced in Charlotte, North Carolina until 1988. She joined the firm of Davis, Matthews & Quigley, P.C. in 1989, when she moved to Atlanta, Georgia unitl December 31, 2023.
Ms. Lindsey was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1985 and to the Georgia Bar in 1989. She is admitted to practice in the North Carolina Supreme Court and the Georgia Supreme Court. She is also a member of the Family Section of the Georgia and North Carolina Bar Associations, the American Bar Association and the Georgia and North Carolina State Bars.
