Dan Diepenbrock is an experienced trial lawyer who has tried more than 70 jury trials to verdict in state and federal courts in Kansas and Oklahoma. His principal areas of practice include insurance defense, commercial litigation, construction litigation, shareholder disputes, Will contests, and criminal defense.
He has achieved winning verdicts in jury cases defending clients in motor vehicle accident cases involving personal injury and wrongful death, corporate litigation, property damage claims, and commercial litigation. He has experience with cases involving alleged construction defects, and cases alleging breach of fiduciary duty against corporate officers and directors.
Dan has tried criminal cases involving serious felony charges, including first degree murder, and allegations of sex crimes.
Born and raised in northeast Kansas, Dan received his B.A. from Friends University in Wichita, majoring in English, and his M.B.A. and law degree from the University of Kansas. He recently completed studies for a Masters in Theology, from Newman University in Wichita. Dan practiced law in western Kansas for 37 years, and has tried jury trials in almost half of the counties in the west one-third of the state.
Dan has served his community by way of two terms on his local school board (three years as board president), has been a member of Rotary since 1986 (two terms as president), and is a member and past president of the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel.
He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and past president of the Kansas Bar Foundation. Active in his local church, Dan has served on the Pastoral Council, and for many years has taught adult formation and Bible study classes.
